Soooo a little explanation as to where I've been the past few weeks and as to why I've been ignoring the blogsphere!
So you may know I was in a car accident in February, blah blah, I'm sick of talking about it myself to be honest and you're probably sick of reading it! But, as I've mentioned before the entire reason in beginning a blog was to really explain my situation.
In recent weeks I've suffered I guess a lot of ups and downs. Since my arm surgery in July unfortunately I've endured continual problems with pain, medication and finding out I have an infection. At the moment we are unsure of where the infection is but my arm is currently the size of a house and absolutely rock solid to touch. Since September I have tried and tested four types of antibiotics, some helping the pain; others landing me in A&E for a couple of days with allergic reactions and unbearable pain. Currently I'm on a different antibiotic, Cefalexin combined with medication I have endured since February, Tramadol, Gabapentin and the usual Paracetamol and it finally it is controlling the pain and leaking from my scar. I had an appointment last week whereby I found out it's 99% sure I will be having surgery which unfortunately has left my chances to return back to University in jeopardy. At the moment I'm distracting myself from thinking about it until my next appointment on the 2nd January, which will hopefully give me an idea on what I can do regarding the future.
Hope you understand but I intend to keep blogging as much as I can.
