So I have a lot, a lot, a lot of explaining to do!
Obviously if you read my blog often I usually, well was
posting three to four times a week, and yes it has been Christmas and I've been
working a lot, but that isn't really my excuse. To put it bluntly I haven’t been
very well, again… and like I said if you read my blog you know this year has
been quite a write off after the car accident. But I’m not going into this now,
I will explain all and what’s going on concerning my back, arm and surgery in
my next post.
At the moment fashion
is what will be keeping my mind at rest at the moment.
I have to say I was absolutely spoilt at Christmas and I
will be doing a few posts on some very special pieces, which today includes two
beautiful Kurt Geiger clutch bags.
Last weekend I took a weekend break to
Brussels for my mom's birthday with my sister and mom (which I will provide a
post on when my mother decides to give up the pictures!) and it was a great
trip and I have to say the shopping was even better. The H&M sale was
possibly the best sale I have ever experienced, and that is saying something! Every fashion enthusiasts
dream. An upcoming post will preview all the bits and pieces I purchased for
those of you interested! Lost of arty things included! But this is where I managed to get both of these gorgeous
pieces at amazing prices!
You may know I’m quite the minimal gal, I stick to my particular
colour palettes and you really won’t find patterns or any kind of jazziness in my wardrobe.
But, I do love embellishments on accessories; this comes from the art & textile part of my brain when creating my own work, I embellish pretty much everything. Through sticking to a colour
block outfits, I can always dress it up with accessories which stand out and this
particular clutch is no different. Even better it was perfect for my Christmas
Eve night out in keeping with the traditional Christmas colours, red &
green!
I love classic items that will last me a lifetime, and
this is one of those items. A beautiful leather clutch that will create a new
twist on a simple outfit keeping it elegant, yet modern.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas everyone!
