So, I have a bit of explaining to do as to why I haven't blogged in two/three weeks! Since having my blog I've rarely left it longer than two/three days, but I do have legitimate reasons! I tend to have a personal blog post every so often, so here it goes!
I'll start from the beginning.
The weekend of the 1st November I was rushed to hospital. Since my arm operation in July I've had continually problems. Although finally something has gone sort of right, the bones seem to be healing well, all thirteen separate places! The problem being my arm actually has got infected, but at the moment things are looking a little better, but we aren't sure whether the infection is on the plate or in the wound. Only time will tell at the moment, but if the infection continues long term it will mean the plate being taken back out in surgery. The reason I was taken to hospital was because I had an allergic reaction to the new, stronger antibiotics I was trying out to control the infection. Unfortunately late on the Saturday night I was extremely ill and went straight to hospital and was eventually let out Sunday night, as to be honest, I'd have enough of hospitals and I wasn't prepared to stay any longer!
My next hospital visit was the trek down to Cardiff on the 5th to review my back surgery and conclude on what happens next with surgery and reoccurring appointments. I've finally got an x-ray to show also, but you may not find them as interesting as I do! I'll try and explain it just a little. As you can see below on the right in the spine, it is quite a contraption, but it's actually a cage where fragments of the bone were put inside so they are able to regrow. The problem I have at the moment is the bar on the left as you can it's pointing diagonally outwards and you can feel it protruding out of my back, so as you can imagine. it's causing pain. I can in the future have the bar taken out, but I will decide what I want to do about more surgery. It doesn't help my spine was somehow curved in the crash, don't ask me how! My most recent appointment was Friday 14th November concerning my arm but nothing relevant seemed to be said. I do have to say if you suffer something similar be prepared for the ridiculous amount of hours you will be spending in hospitals!
To conclude my bad enough three weeks, my dog, Megan unexpectedly passed away and it's been extremely sad for my family and I. I'm sure anyone with an animal will agree they become a part of the family. I don't want to write much, all I can say is she meant the world to us.
xxx
I'll be back to fashion later this week so fingers crossed a bit of good news might fly my way!
