Autumn/Winter 2014 was established on the couture catwalk as a range of Winter pastels, red, navy & green, specifically khaki. For me, the perfect array of colours, suitable for a range of women, sizes and skin tones.
Colour is personal to us all, we like/dislike certain shades and our wardrobes are a reflection of that. Like many others, this is predominately where I need to expand on within my personal style, although for many like me, 'black is best', a splash of colour is necessary this season.
Colour is something I in a way am 'afraid' of.
Does it suit me?
Do I look ridiculous in these bright colours?
I see fashion bloggers all the time working yellow, green & purple and it bewilders me. To me in London its fine, well normal; everywhere else does people tend to critique us as a bit odd? Crazy even? But I'm gonna go there, as they say, 'YOLO'.
I spent the weekend trawling through the Topshop website searching how I could diminish my birthday vouchers and these are the wonderful products I found. For once everything I ordered online fit and I loved!
Crepe Zip Shift Dress_
Topshop_
Price: £45.00
Colours: Red/Grey
This dress caught my eye the first day it arrived in stores. Dressing my shape I tend to know what style of dresses to go for. Shift, Skater, or Shirt. They tend to fit the best personally and this shift is no different. Not only that the V-Neck is a preferable neckline of mine. This dress also comes in grey but I went against my initial desires and opted for colour, which I'm glad I did! As a shift dress they can come across as a little bland but with the decorative zip pockets and back, its perfect.
HOLA Chelsea Boots_

Price: £46.00_
You may have noticed I own the beautiful suede version of these boots but I committed the dreaded sin and got them wet. They are still wearable but there are a few unfortunate marks, but I am determined to find a way to clean them. If not, I'm going for the 'rustic' look when wearing. Following this I decided to buy the leather look version sporting textured croc print and I love them! I would say go a size up on your usual size as me and my friend Beth experienced they can be an absolute b***h to get on!!
Crepe Swing Vest_

Price: £12.00_
Range of Colours_
Continuing the push for colour I decided on this sweet little swing vest. Again with the rouge theme I fell for the warm Winter berry colour. Not only this, I'm a huge fan of Topshop's crepe clothing selection as it wears wonderfully so it fulfils my personal taste.
Satin Black Crepe Culottes_
Topshop_
Price: £40.00_
Colours: White/Black_
After previously ordering these beauty's and receiving them with a hole in, I've finally, finally got my hands on them! As soon as I tried them on a couple of weeks ago in store I wanted them. I struggle with trousers as finding a flattering and comfortable pair is actually extremely difficult, especially as sizes in stores differ, that doesn't help us! The crepe fabric flows smoothly and the wide leg compliments the cinched in waist. They're going to be an Autumn favourite of mine!
