As the title writes, I think every girl can agree we all have a pair of beautiful shoes in our wardrobe that sit there collecting dust, and these are mine.
I brought these New Look beauties last year around September for my 20th birthday which I had planned to pair with a gorgeous ice blue embellished playsuit from Miss Selfridge. I tried them on in the store and they looked lovely on so I bought them thinking yes, they're a little uncomfortable but I'll be drunk, I can power through!
Even being drunk, I was sincerely wrong.
They are seriously one of the most uncomfortable pairs of shoes ever.
I couldn't even leave pre drinks wearing them so I've technically never worn them outside. Me and a lot of my friends have had the same problems with the sandal-esque style shoes and the very thin heel; the problem being we are literally unable to walk in them comfortably. I now realise why I was so thankful that the nineties made a fabulous return the with platform. If anyone has any comfort tips on wearing these shoes then they would be greatly appreciated, there's been so many pairs I've wanted to buy but I haven't wanted to waste my money in case I can't walk in them.
At the moment I understand why I can't with me having no balance at all due to my back and left leg but prior to that, the heel seemed an impossible task.
A little more on the shoes.
As you can see from the images in keeping with my usual mute and minimalist theme these sandals are an elegant grey and for me that's pretty outgoing rather than choosing simplistic black. The luxurious suede effect creates an opulent feel rather than classic leather strappy sandals.
There is such an elegant and sophisticated feel to these heels!
I'm hoping I'm going to be able to showcase them sometime soon.

I chuckled to myself reading this post because this is exactly the type of heel I go for because I CAN walk in them! My feet are narrow so I need a shoe that is literally strapped to my foot.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the fact there is no strapping over the middle of the foot makes these shoes difficult to walk in?

Haha I am glad it amused you! I'm seriously jealous you can, but that may definitely be the reason so I'm going to look for a pair you've recommended!
