'A Shirt That Will Last You A Lifetime'

11.8.14

Saturday I went out with the intentional motive of buying a dress for the Horse Races which me and my boyfriend are having as one of our 21st birthday parties in September. So I thought I'll be prepared and sort a dress now because if I struggle to find one I'll want to cancel the event altogether! I did actually sort a dress but I'm going to be doing a separate post on you helping me decide between the two I have knocked it down to.

I did go slightly off-course from looking at dresses, as you can see from my purchases below...

'The Zara Dupe'

Primark Pink Leather Jacket_
Price: £25.00_

I have lusted after the pastel Zara jacket ever since it came out but was slightly to pricey for someone with no income! So when I had seen bloggers parading around in this pretty pink beauty I knew I had to get my hands on it. It really is as fabulous as it looks. For how cheap it is, obviously its faux leather but its smooth to touch and the fit is pretty much perfect.
An absolute must have for the Autumn!

H&M Patterned Blouse_
Price: £14.99_

My love for shirts has reoccurred once again.
I'm pretty sure from looking at several magazines starring Autumn/Winter wear shirts are going to be big this season so I've hit the sales to fill up my wardrobe. The stripe print on this shirt is perfect for me and sticking to monochrome, you can't go wrong

H&M White Tailored Jacket_
Price: £24.99_

The white blazer has been around for a while smartening up outifts and kicking the usual black blazer to the curb. I previously had this exact same jacket last year but stupidly tumble dried it and it lost its shape completely, so it was time for me to purchase another now that my arm is sort of down to a normal(ish) size.

H&M Tailored Waistcoat_
Price: £14.99_

As soon as I saw this, I had to have it
Apart from the amazing price, which isn't even it's sale price, it is an item that can be dressed up, down and worn with pretty much anything and could smarten up a bin bag.
Perfect for winter paired on top of a big fluffy jumper.

Grey Chiffon Sleeve V-Neck Tunic_
Price: £38.00_
Sale: £12.00_

You may have remembered from a post not that long a go I have this blouse in white. But when I saw it in the sale I couldn't tear myself away from buying it, especially at £12.00, which angers me when I paid a sort of ridiculous £38.00 for it! Anyhow, anger aside, it is a wonderful flowing blouse and one of my favourite tops at the moment. Not only that grey is my colour of the moment and will carry on right through into Winter
Even better now I can mix and match between the two colours!

Topshop Pinstripe Shirt_
Price: £28.00_
Price: £14.99_

A classic shirt is a must-buy for anyone, and it is an item that also suits everyone. Worn smartly with a suit or pencil skirt is as fabulous as when it is worn casually with jeans
A Shirt that will last you a lifetime.

New Look Black Chunky Cleated Sole Open Toe Mules_
Price: £29.99_
Sale Price: £13.00_

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these absolute beauties in the sale in New Look. I was actually looking for a pair to match one of the race dresses and came out with just these. My excuse was I was asked to go out last minute on Saturday night and didn't have a suitable pair of shoes at my boyfriends to go out in. Saturday was actually the first night I've worn heels since breaking my back and of course, I fell over, trust me!
But who cares if the shoes look good!

Zara Blue & White Stripe Shirt_
Price: £30.00_
Sale Price: £16.99

Yes I know, another shirt. But, who can turn down a beautiful Zara sale item, definitely not me.

New post will be up later this week, and I will be wanting your help on deciding on a dress for the races! So please come back to help me out.
