Working With Wool.

23.5.14

As much as I blog about fashion indulging my passion for it, being a textiles student isn't just about style and the trends each season, it’s how they are created and educating yourself on the thousands of textile techniques and process’ in crafting all textiles, such as garments and furnishings.

Presently I am suspended from University following the accident, and evidently I have been incapable of doing much due to my destroyed right arm. But, recently I have been told by my physio, even though the bones are struggling to heal, losing all the muscle I have doesn't help bone growth. Even a small bit of movement in the arm can benefit my progression.

So, to my post!

I've decided to assist that significant muscle growth in my arm by knitting! Not only is it going to contribute to my progression, it’s going to distract me from the absolutely dreadful daytime television and attempt to absorb my continual boredom from living at home and doing nothing productive.
.
In sixth form (which seems so long ago!) I learnt to knit, but to be honest gave up because I despised it, and the real reason? I couldn't do it. So! I'm back to it and determined to conquer it before I return back to University so I have an additional skill under my belt. Hence, while I was out in Lichfield I purchased the following few items to help me get back into the process!

I will keep you updated with my progress, if there is any at all!

And of course if you have tips for a beginner, any comment would be happily appreciated!
