Jewellery is the finishing touch to complete any look. I am
a lover of basic clothing as prints and daring colours can be quite a difficult buy for me although I am starting to allow them into my closet for the summer! I've
chosen a few of my favourite pieces to show you how any plain black and white outfit
can look as great as wearing colours if they’re wearing a stunning statement
necklace. I find it necessary to own both gold and silver pieces even if you aren't a fan of one particular colour, but gold tends to look gorgeous with oranges, yellows and reds while silver
looks sublime with blues, greens, pinks and purples. Also included is a few of
my favourite colour pieces which can look even more fabulous with outfits if
you’re choosing to add a bit of colour. Large statement necklaces can look great on any outfit, but the more decorative you go the more subtle your outfit and accessories need to be, you don't want to go out looking like a Christmas tree with all the ball baubles! Contrasting to statement pieces I've included
two of my favourite chokers which are slowly creeping back into fashion (even
though my boyfriend James isn't much of a fan!) this summer. The white choker always looks
great against an all-black outfit, which I usually live in! Meanwhile the black
symbol choker can look fab with black or white and my particular favourites,
paired with denim shorts or leather jackets and chunky platform sandals for a
grunge look.
