Missguided Mania_Pastel Colours_Part Two

23.4.14

This is the continuing pastel post based on my Missguided purchases, highlighting their wonderful summer collection. My aim with clothing is to wear clothes that flatter my body and make me feel both comfortable and confident. I hope to explain this through my purchases to make you feel the same way.

Heather Textured Tailored Boyfriend Coat_Baby Pink_£54.99
Introducing winter wear into summer through beautiful pastel coats was a genius idea to keep warm on our cool Spring (and Summer) days while still looking summery. This finally makes a change from our usual warm black and grey winter coats. Although I have only recently purchased the oversized Topshop white coat, I have fallen in love with pale pink this season and I have searched high and low for a great priced one until I came across this beauty on Missguided. This Mohair textured coat feels absolutely wonderful and creates a contrast to the textures usually worn underneath.

Umbelina Textured Cami Top_Lilac_£9.99
I am a big fan of texture obviously being a textiles student and this subtle piece is a wonderful summer top. Camis are great for many reasons, such as dressed over my favourite high waisted jeans, tucked in or over denim shorts, tucked into a midi length skirt and even in my 'Mom' jeans. This is the lilac version of the white cami I had previously posted on Part One. I couldn't resist buying the lavender version as again I have grown to be a huge lover of the colour this season and having both I can chop and change when the wind blows.  Camis are versatile for the reason they're fabulous on a hot day in the beaming sun but during the cooler evenings look great under a denim jacketkimono or spring pastel coat. Contrasting to the 'usual' cami, the shape of this particular one is a wonderful halterneck and also is longer than most reaching down to the thigh.

Pansitta Shift Dress_Cream_£14.99
This gorgeous crepe dress is a wonderful buy due to it being so versatile. As I have mentioned shift dresses are my ultimate 'go to' dresses on both a night out and a casual day dress. A shift dress doesn't hug to your shape in any way making you feel uncomfortable; it glides over your body giving you a lovely a line figure. With the dress being a mini length it's perfect to get out legs out both on the town with a bright pair of high heels or during a beautiful summer day dressed down with my ultimate slider sandals. Wearing such a simple dress and being wonderful white decorative colourful necklaces are a must!

Eleonora V Neck Stripes Jumper_Lilac_£15.99
I'm not usually a huge fan of jumpers but this cricket jumper was worn on a blog and it was love at first sight. Again my love for lavender continues on this piece of knitwear as it really stood out and thought it looked astonishingly cute as different version of the cricket jumper. The V neck in black and white stands out agaisnt the contrasting lavender and a crisp white shirt looks lovely underneath. This jumper is perfect for cool spring and summer days and works well with a variety of things; my personal favourite being white high-waisted jeans. Vogue is also jumping upon the trend as displayed in this months issue!
