'Last minute holiday purchases'

After attending a party Saturday night I came back a little earlier due to not feeling well and this was a bad move as it left me to lie in bed trawling through the online sales. I have to say Topshop sales are only good if you’re a size six. I think I've only ever found one item in the past and that was a jumper, so nothing particularly ravishing. 

Anyway, these items are actually in my eyes needed; last minute holiday purchases so I’ll just take you through!

I really do love H&M, their basics are my ultimate favourite.

 I had recently seen Miss Khloe Kardashian in a pair of sporty style leather shorts and I loved the way they looked and I thought the style would suit me, so it was time to find a cheap alternative!

 I started with Topshop (as always) and found a great copy but at £34.00 they were a little steep. So onto H&M, I searched leather shorts and couldn't believe it, £12.99 for a pair exactly the same, they haven’t arrived yet but I'm so excited to style them for my fast approaching holiday.

 I always think if you’re going to pay for delivery I can justify getting a few more items. It doesn't make much sense when I say it now, but there you go! Into the sale I went! I spotted a wonderful basic maxi dress perfect for comfortable travelling and a great item to style up with boho jewellery and a kimono. This took me to the jewellery sale and I love each of these items. 

I'm sort of moving on from the chunky decorative necklaces onto the more subtle and simple styles. At these prices who am I to say no!

Onto the bag, I am more than aware I own far too many bags, but to be honest I've been looking for a beach bag for god knows how long, and I can’t really justify this as a beach bag, but I'm going against the usual tote/shopper style and sticking to a leather holdall style shoulder bag. Perfect to carry at the moment with my useless arm and it’s big enough to fit all the crap that I seem to accumulate for travelling!

I decided to try on all my swimsuits today and to say I wanted to curl up in a ball and cry is an understatement. To be honest I’m going to look ridiculous either way as my brace goes from my arm across the chest, under the shoulder and across the back, so there’s no missing it. I also went against what I usually do and that is to not buy cheap swimsuits. I will definitely remember this from now on! I have a big bust and there’s no way some of these ridiculously small swimsuits with scarily thin material are built to hold up my boobs. So I went crazy on eBay putting all my brand new ones for sale; including River Island (Sizes: 8/10/12) so take a look if you’re off on holiday soon check out my eBay for bargains starting from just 99p!

After wiping the tears away I decided right, I want something I’m comfortable in so I began flicking ferociously through Vogue for inspiration I came across a gorgeous printed swimsuit and can you believe it, it was in my price range, from Next! I think/hope it was fate.

 So I went onto their website and purchased it straight away.

 I really love the look of this costume, with the print it’s something a bit out there for me, also the sporty racer back style contrasts to all my others. Finally, the dark blue inserts down inside are the ultimate slimming technique, you may have seen these on a variety of dresses whereby the illusion is created to make you look slimmer, so I'm excited to receive it tomorrow!

I did find another on Next which was a black mesh swimsuit but unfortunately it wasn't in stock, so the search continued. Topshop, River Island, Missguided, Boohoo, Debenhams, you name it, I ploughed through all the usuals and finally resorted to ASOS, and I’m certainly glad I did! 

Similar to the Next costume this is a black piece with mesh inserts makes it slightly more unique than a simple black swimsuit. This also seemed like it may suit me slightly better. The panels are used to tone you and hold you in a bit, furthermore the underwire cups are much more suitable for me, so fingers crossed it fits!
