Lace Me Up.

5.6.15

Lace up stilettos hit us hard with their fabulous arrival late last year and have continued to expand in popularity ever since. From the bloggers to the super stylish celebrities they are a favourite and are here to stay. Check out some of my ultimate inspirations in the photos below!
Looking last year the designer styles were vast in their choices but the high street took a little longer to catch on and have only really taken them up in the last two months, but boy have they done a good job of them.
I brought these about two/three months ago and as I had mentioned in my previous posts I have a lot of catching up to do! I'm terrible for buying black shoes, but I feel if I buy black there's a much bigger chance of me getting the wear out of them, let's face it, all students think like this. If I'm going to divulge in buying colour it's usually because I need a specific pair to match an outfit; overall black is best, let's be honest, it goes with everything. I'm a serious high street hauler and if I see something I like I will track it down until I find them, this includes eBay and depop if I'm getting serious about it, which I usually do. But this time I only had to check out a couple of different Primarks before I got them in my size, and yes that was Primark, and even more shocking? They were a an absolute bargain of £13. Best thing ever.

Mind Over Mules.

2.6.15

The perfect daytime shoe for the Summer, even if we haven't seen much of one yet, we can still prepare for those hot, sunny days. I've been wearing them for months on those rare nice days, but summer is calling their name. Rocking the 70's this season these mules are a fab way to style up any outfit with that particular trend if you're a bit frighted of the fierce flares or hippy sleeves. Not only that the low heel is perfect for a little bit of height while still being able to wear comfortably throughout the day. I trekked through the city of Paris wearing these, buying a second pair was the best decision I've made!
A few things with buying from Forever 21.
Make sure you know your size, they display european measurements but the sizes are still actually different so be really careful when ordering if you're buying online!
I own several pairs from Forever 21 and the faux leather hasn't lasted as long as I'd hoped, so take this into consideration when buying; we can't really complain when they're so cheap though!

Just so you know these lovelies are now in the sale! Check out the link below to take you to the page!

Perfect Platforms.

1.6.15

I've finally finished my first year of Textiles at Loughborough University (thank god!) after taking a year out. In February I was in a huge midst of panic before returning to semester two with the aspect of a whole new year of both new people and whether my body was going to be able to handle all the work after a year rehabilitating. But, I really am ecstatic to have got through it and I've loved it. But, finishing for the summer means I finally have some time to blog, alongside working at Debenhams, so let's start!

I have so much to catch up on with my blog, this includes around twenty pairs of shoes, so I'll definitely be kept busy for the next few weeks!
I'll start off with the 'perfect platform'.
Heels for a night out are always a struggle for everyone, be honest girls. By the end of the night we're either so drunk we can't even feel the pain in our feet anymore or we're on the dance floor barefoot clutching our strappies under our arm. So I was on the hunt. I have enough pain everywhere else in my body I wasn't prepared to undertake a night out in self-inflicted pain! When you first try on heels, they can be more than deceiving. I'll stumble around in the store for a good five minutes thinking these are really comfortable, one hour into a night out, the blisters on my feet aren't lying. But, these shoes are genuinely comfortable and got me through a fair few hours on a night on the town!
New Look is always my go to for heels. They're the best priced on the high street. For me Topshop and River Island have some gorgeous heels but for a student they are quite a bit more expensive. On top of that, New Look accepts student discount, bonus! £24.99 for shoes? Who could say no?!
